Evrima Server Not Showing in the Server Browser: Causes and Fixes
Why an Evrima dedicated server doesn't appear in the in-game server list, the causes in the order they usually happen, and how to check.
The Isle's in-game server list comes from Epic Online Services (EOS). Your server has to log in to EOS and register a session before players can see it. When it doesn't show up, the cause is usually one of the points below. Work through them in order.
1. Give it a few minutes
A server that just started or restarted can take 2 to 5 minutes to appear in the list. The same goes for a new ServerName: it only shows after a full restart. Wait 5 minutes before you change anything else.
2. Check Engine.ini
Engine.ini has an [EpicOnlineServices] section with DedicatedServerClientId and DedicatedServerClientSecret. These ship with the server and are the same for everyone. If they are missing, changed or in the wrong section, the server may start but never list, or not start at all. Compare them with a fresh copy of the file.
3. Open the game port
Players and the list need to reach the game port, 7777 by default. Open it for UDP, and owners report TCP too, in your host's firewall and on your router if you host at home. If you turned on the queue (bQueueEnabled=true), also open the queue port, 10000 TCP by default. Running two servers on one machine? Give each one its own game, queue and RCON port.
4. Read the server log
Look for the EOS lines after startup:
- "Unable to initialize EOS platform" and the server exits: on Windows, security software can block it. Add an exclusion for the server folder and try again.
- EOS login works, but the server never creates a session: the server is online but never registers in the list. Owners have seen this on some Linux container setups. Check that Game.ini was loaded (your
ServerNameshows in the log), fix any Game.ini errors, and restart.
5. Is it only your server?
If many servers vanish at the same moment, EOS itself is having trouble, and they come back on their own. Owners on different hosts saw this together in August. Check whether other servers you know are missing too before you change your setup.
6. Listed, but you can't join from home
If friends can join but you can't from the same network, your router doesn't support connecting to your own public IP from inside (NAT loopback). The server is fine. Join with the server's local IP, or test from outside your network.
How to check whether you're listed
MantaScope reads the same EOS server list every few minutes. Search your server's name or IP on our The Isle server list: if it's there, the in-game list has it too, and the server page shows when it was last seen. Or use the listing checker, which also tells you which step above to try.
If you claim your server (free for one server), we alert you when it drops out of the list, so you hear it from us before your players tell you.
