TL;DR: Gateway has 23 salt licks (game version 0.21.784). Most are in the east: 6 near East Plains and 4 near Northeast Plains. Open the interactive Gateway map, turn on the Salt licks layer (the diamond button) and they all show up. Every coordinate below pastes straight into the map.
How to use this list
- Open the The Isle Evrima map.
- Turn on the Salt licks layer in the toolbar.
- Copy a coordinate from the table and paste it into the box above the map: a pin drops on that salt lick.
- To see where you are, press Tab in game, copy your location and paste it the same way.

The east of the island has almost half of them. If you spawn in the west, the four licks near West Rail Access are your closest.

Open a pack room on the map (the people button): share the 6-character code, and up to 8 players see each other's position and pins live. Drop a pin on the salt lick you are heading to and everyone sees it.
Does this change with patches?
Yes. These positions come from Gateway as it is in game version 0.21.784. When a patch moves things, the map gets a new version, and this guide is updated with it.
