Rust player count right now

72,599 players are online on 9,341 Rust community servers right now. Last 24 hours: peak 83,436 players, low 31,620. On average 56,777 players were online over the last 24 hours. Rust has 117,173 players on Steam right now (24-hour peak 134,219). Most played maps: Procedural Map, Custom Map.

How to read these numbers: community-server counts come from MantaScope polling every public Rust server about every 5 minutes, and bots are not counted, so they show real people on community servers. Steam numbers are Steam-wide concurrent players of the game's Steam app, including official servers and single player, so the two usually differ. The chart below shows both over time.
