Standard RCON tools fail
Evrima uses its own binary protocol on the RconPort, not Source RCON. We speak it natively, so you don't need a special client or a Discord bot on your own box.
Old command guides are wrong
Many guides still list Legacy commands like teleport or spawn, which Evrima RCON doesn't have. The list below is what Evrima RCON accepts.
Names cause mistakes
Evrima moderates by SteamID64, not by name. Our player list shows each player's SteamID64 next to the name, so you kick and ban the right person.

Why doesn't my usual RCON tool connect to The Isle?
Evrima RCON is a different protocol from Source RCON, even though both are called RCON. Tools built for Source games send packets Evrima doesn't understand. MantaScope uses the Evrima protocol.
Where do I turn RCON on?
In Game.ini: bRconEnabled=true, RconPassword=yourpassword and RconPort=8888 (the default), then restart the server. Use a long, unique RCON password, and keep your RCON port (default 8888) closed to the public if you do not use it.
Do I have to give you my RCON password?
To claim the page, you put a one-time code in your server name: on The Isle, RCON can't prove ownership (it runs on a separate port). After the claim, the RCON password lets you use the console and the Isle panel. We store it encrypted, and your admins never see it; they get roles with only the permissions you choose.
Why is the teleport command missing?
Evrima RCON has no teleport or spawn command. Those are from Legacy or from server mods. The table above is the full Evrima RCON list.
Is it really free?
Yes for one server: console, bans, player history, roles and the Discord bot. Automation and more servers are in the Admin plan ($10/month for 5 servers).
